Saturday 14 th February, The Botany of Love for Valentines Abington Lodge 2.00 -4.00 pm

We'll see what nature provides in the way of love potions and courting gifts from the natural world of a nature reserve. Make- and-Take home what you fancy for who you fancy. A light-hearted time for the light of heart .

Tuesday 17 th February, Make-a-Garden Eastfield Primary School, Northapton 10.00 – 3.00 pm

We're creating a brand new garden with the support of the CVS. The garden is mainly for children to enjoy and grow their own vegetable and flowers. Want to help us make it happen?

* Saturday 28 th February Fruit Tree Grafting & Pruning (2) Main Road, Earls Barton, 2.00-4.30 pm

Got some older fruit trees and don't know how to prune them? While the sap's still down now is the time. Also there will be material to practice tree-making grafting skills. Why not bring along an apple tree twig to turn into a tree? Make- and-Take a tree home if you like: Members £1.50, Non-members £3.50. Or leave it for SCE's orchard-making. Directions

* Thursday 5 th March Fruit Tree Grafting (3) Hunthe Garden 4.30-6.30 pm

This time we concentrate on different grafting techniques. This session is a follow-on from the previous two, but we'll welcome and help those who couldn't come before as well.

* Please bring your own secateurs and a clean sharp knife to these events if you have them. (We will have some spares).
